Fußball trifft Kultur

This is "Fußball trifft Kultur"

The idea

The idea behind "Fußball trifft Kultur" is to use enthusiasm for soccer as a driving force. We want to motivate children and young people with special needs to learn through soccer.

The target group

Our program is aimed at children in grades 3 to 6 at selected partner schools in challenging neighborhoods.

1st half:
Language training

With the "Fußball trifft Kultur" language training program, we promote the reading, writing and language skills of the participants. We focus on low-threshold and playful content and use soccer as a language opportunity and connecting element.

2nd half:
Soccer training

With the "Fußball trifft Kultur" soccer training, we promote the social skills of the participants. They learn to work together as a group in a fun way, treat each other with respect and deal with victories and defeats. Training with coaches from professional clubs also serves as additional motivation for our educational program.

Extension:
Cultural activities

The cultural activities at "Fußball trifft Kultur" broaden the participants' cultural horizons and create informal and practical language opportunities.

These are our partner clubs

These are our godmothers and godfathers

At the respective program locations, the local professional clubs support us with youth coaches and their charisma.
In addition, professional footballers from the professional clubs serve as role models and mentors for the children.

Oliver Fink, ex-professional footballer, project manager at Fortuna Düsseldorf 95's youth training center and FtK program sponsor

"Sport and culture are two important cornerstones of our society. The combination of "Fußball trifft Kultur" is an enriching offer for children and young people and provides new impetus for their development."

Alaa Hamad Bakir, professional footballer from MSV Duisburg and FtK program sponsor

"It's important for them to have someone they can identify with. I was very happy to be part of the training! If I can then give the kids something for their personal and sporting development, that's great."

Christopher Antwi-Adjei, professional footballer at VfL Bochum and FtK program sponsor

"Fußball trifft Kultur" is a great project that uses the integrative power of sport to promote education and culture among young people. I am very happy to support it."

Matthias Bader, professional footballer at SV Darmstadt 98 and FtK program sponsor

"The "Fußball trifft Kultur" concept immediately makes learning fun. This creates enthusiasm for this program among all the children, which I am very happy to support. The integrative power of soccer combined with the learning content, which is taught in a sustainable way, is an ideal combination and therefore much better than boring remedial lessons."

Okka Gundel, sports presenter / journalist and FtK program sponsor

"Life without books is like soccer without a ball. You can see the importance of reading from the fact that a really good footballer can read a game. And without a single letter."

Luca Schuler, professional footballer from 1 FC Magdeburg and FtK program sponsor

"I am very proud to be the first sponsor of the "Fußball trifft Kultur" program in Magdeburg and to be able to support the children. Soccer brings people together and the team spirit motivates the children to get more exercise in their everyday lives!"

Jan-Philipp Kalla, former professional footballer from FC St. Pauli and FtK program sponsor

"Fußball trifft Kultur" is a great program that combines the fun of learning with the fun of soccer. That's why I'm happy to support this program.

Paul Wünsch, U19 player for Eintracht Frankfurt and FtK program sponsor

"It's great to see the unifying power of soccer. The children come together here from different cultural backgrounds, pursue their passion and learn the language. It's a great project that I'm happy to support as a sponsor."

Thomas Dähne, professional footballer from Holstein Kiel and FtK program sponsor

"This is a great project. You can tell that both the exercise and the lessons are good for the children and that they have a lot of fun. Sport and culture simply unite."
